Bulldogs end season winless

By falling behind 31-0 in the third quarter, the Bulldogs suffered the inevitable in the league season finale against Atwater on Friday.
Turlock (0-10, 0-6 CCC) couldn’t get their offense going until late in the game and became just the second team in school history to have a winless season. The last time it happened was back in 1931, when the program went 0-6.
On Friday night at Joe Debely Stadium, Turlock finally got on board in the third quarter, thanks to a 13-yard field goal by Sean Badiou — and later, Justin Esquivel found Charles Holcombe on a 15-yard touchdown pass.
With the win, Atwater captured the league’s second playoff seed.
